Lean Into Your Now
“For the meaning of life differs from man to man, from day to day and from hour to hour. What matters, therefore, is not the meaning of life in general but rather the specific meaning of a person’s life at a given moment.” - Viktor Frankl.
This is a quote that struck me in reading “Man’s Search for Meaning,” by Viktor Frankl. It made me sit back and think, what does life mean to me right now? It made me zoom in, when I tend to zoom out. I took the context of everything I’ve gone through in my journey, and instead got hyper focused on where I’m at now.
What is my source of meaning now? It’s to simply lean into everything I’m feeling. It’s trying to be everything that I want to be. What does this mean? For me it means to remove all resistance from doing the things that I want to do when I want to do them. This is my current state of alignment. This is the step of manifestation that’s often left out of the conversation.
Half of manifestation is learning what you want to achieve. It’s envisioning you being in that desired situation. Embodying the person you want to become, and you will slowly become that person. However, the part that’s often left out of the conversation is, if you don’t remove the resistance from your belief structure, the resistance from why you weren’t the desired version of self, you’re not going to get anywhere.
A quote i’ve seen circulating recently is, you have to be willing to sacrifice your old self for the version of yourself that you wish to become. There’s no truer statement than this. In removing the resistance I’ve found myself in a state of peace. Because I’m OK with whatever happens. Whatever direction my life goes in, that’s ok. I’m ok with it, because I’m aligning myself to my values, I’m doing what I want to do, and I’m feeling into everything I’m doing.
I’ve written about feeling overwhelmed recently. But I’ve welcomed that overwhelm. I’ve welcomed all of these things onto my plate. I haven’t written as much because I know I can get myself in front of more eyes by posting on social media. I’m embodying my purpose and the medicine I wish to share with the world. I want to help people embody this sense of alignment and I want to help people manifest the life they want to live.
So, how are you creating resistance? What negative patterns are the hardest to release? Sometimes the patterns aren’t negative, they’re just comfortable and inhibit your ability to be uncomfortable. Discomfort is the door, the passage, the pathway you must enter in order to find the growth and expanded consciousness you seek.
So, lean in. Find what you want to do in the here and now. Align your thoughts, words and actions in order to make the changes necessary to manifest the life that eliminates regret.
Have a wonderful weekend.
